ZWO ASI220mm Mini CMOS Camera Features -The new generation of guide camera
The ASI220MM Mini camera integrates a 1/1.8" SC2210 sensor (5.6mm x 3.2mm). It is a mono guide camera with excellent near infrared sensitivity. This camera has 4um x 4um pixels with an array of 1920 x 1080 and a full well capacity of 8780e. The protective window is AR coated.
Iteration
The ASI220MM Mini can be regarded as an upgraded version of the ASI290MM Mini. It has a bigger sensor format and larger pixel size with better NIR sensitivity.
Camera Performance
-Readout noise
The readout noise of the ASI220MM Mini can be as low as 0.6e.
-Quantum Efficiency
We assume the QE Peak value of the ASI220MM Mini is 92% at 500nm.
USB2.0 Port and ST4 Port
USB2.0 Port: The camera features a USB-C 2.0 Port that provides you with an easier and more modern connection method than the ordinary USB-A port.
ST4 Port: The camera can be connected directly to the autoguider port of the mount.
Connection Methods
Connection with OAG
The Mini camera series are all well suited for OAG use. It can be pushed inwards or pulled outwards to allow you to ensure that the distance from the prism to the main camera sensor is exactly equal to the distance from the prism to the guide camera sensor.
