WideSky 80S F/6.25 ED Refractor Telescope
The WideSky 80S ED Refractor Telescope is a portable and lightweight high quality ED doublet scope which is extremely versatile – from general Astronomy for beginners, to use as a second scope for a multitude of applications - from daytime use as a spotting scope or for solar observing (with correct filtration), and for astrophotography applications with a field flattener or focal reducer. Supplied in a convenient case with hard foam and lots of space for accessories, this makes an excellent grab & go scope for vacations, outreach events, or a quick look at the sights of the night sky.
The patented rack and pinion hybrid drive 2” focuser is smooth, accurate, and can carry heavy loads without drifting. The sliding dewshield makes for compactness in storage but extends to shield the lens from condensation and stray light.
The WideSky 80S has a dovetail-profile mounting foot with camera-tripod threaded holes, or can be mounted to a Vixen saddle plate on an equatorial or alt azimuth mount.
Optional extras include a finderscope/guidescope mounting shoe and visual or photopraphic accessories to allow this excellent scope to really come into its own.
