The NYX-88, a compact mount designed to complement its larger sibling, the NYX-101.

Boasting an impressive payload capacity of up to 14kg (mount weights 5Kg) without the need for counterweights, the NYX-88 is engineered for precision and performance in astrophotography and observational astronomy.

Constructed from CNC aircraft-grade machined aluminium alloy and finished with black and blue anodization, the Nyx-88 ensures durability and style. Its strain wave (harmonic) drive system delivers backlash-free operation and high torque, even under heavy payloads.

Safety features include an electronic brake on the RA axis and software safety limit stops during slewing or tracking. Operating on just 12 volts, it offers smooth performance with minimal power consumption.

The Nyx-88's universal saddle accepts Vixen and Losmandy 3-inch dovetails, while an ST-4 port allows seamless integration with our hand controller or guiding cameras. Ideal for "grab and go" astrophotographers and astronomers seeking precision and mobility in their observations.
