Askar 3" f/4.9 0.7x Reducer for ASKAR 107PHQ, 130PHQ and 151PHQ Telescopes
This 0.7x Reducer of triplet optical construction has been specifically designed for the ASKAR 107PHQ and 130PHQ f7 APO telescopes to achieve a faster f/4.9 focal ratio for wide field full frame imaging. In the case of the 107PHQ you will achieve a 524mm focal length.
By using this reducer you will effectively shorten the exposure time and dramatically widen the field of view.
Once you unscrewed the visual back with the M86 adapter you will screw that adapter to the camera side of the reducer, then it will slide inside your telescope and you will screw the unti back to the focuser via the M86 thread. As shown on the below images, you will reuse the M86 to 2" visual back that came with the 107PHQ and place the reducer between the telescope and the unscrewed adapter.
It offers a corrected and fully illuminated field for full frame cameras.
